To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether he will commit to spending 10 per cent of his Department's transport budget on active travel.

Answer:

I am committed to the positive change the scale of investment in active travel as outlined in the NI Climate Act 2022 would make to the lives of people who want to have greater choice in how they travel, particularly for shorter everyday journeys, or in combination with using public transport.
