Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 9468/22-27, to detail potential resolutions to the issues faced in securing providers for rural primary schools in the Healthy Happy Minds pilot.

Answer:

I will take the time to assess the findings of the evaluation and the recommendations contained therein, including rural proofing. It will also be important to consider other relevant research and feedback from stakeholders, and the availability of these health professionals across all services, when developing a longer-term approach to supporting children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing in education. Of course, this must be delivered within the budgetary resources available.
