Question:
To ask the Minister of Health what steps his Department (i) has taken; and (ii) will take to implement Recommendation 47 of the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care by Professor Ray Jones.

Answer:

My officials are in the process of establishing a further Workstream of the Children’s Social Care Strategic Reform Programme to, among other things, progress recommendation 47. Terms of Reference for the Workstream will be developed jointly with the Re-imagine Children's Collective and we will ensure that the new Workstream connects fully with other strands of work under the Programme.
