Question:
To ask the Minister of Education when he will bring costed plans to the Executive to support parents and childcare providers through (ii) interim support; and (ii) the implementation of the Early Learning and Childcare Strategy.

Answer:

I have bid for funding to enable me to implement a package of measures in the 2024/25 financial year on which the longer-term strategy can be built. I hope to be in a position soon to bring forward costed proposals for Executive consideration. What I am able to do will depend on the funding made available to my department.
