Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether the continued roll-out of Encompass will restrict the data available from Health and Social Care Trusts who take up the programme.

Answer:

Tools provided by encompass will provide Trusts with more detailed real-time data. The encompass programme is working with each Trust as they implement encompass to actively monitor and validate data against baselines supplied and confirmed by each individual trust. It is important that accurate information is available for evidence-based decision making and provision of official statistics.

The work currently undertaken in the South Eastern Trust will support other trusts in faster validation processes.
