To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the amount spent on the Communities in Transition Project since its introduction, broken down by focus area.

Answer:

As of 31 March 2024, Communities in Transition (CIT) has awarded over £19 million to projects across the eight CIT geographical areas. The breakdown is as follows:

Carrickfergus and Larne £2,088,013.

Derry/Londonderry£1,884,606.

North Down£1,540,709.

Lurgan/Craigavon £1,146,861.

West Belfast £2,630,702.

North Belfast £1,363,507.

Shankill £1,705,975.

East Belfast £1,778,823.

Regional Projects £5,183,813.
