Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail (i) his plans to reinitiate the dilapidation bill; and (ii) the stage the bill is currently at in its creation.

Answer:

Subject to the Executive approving the 2024/25 legislative programme and also agreeing the Bill, it is my intention to introduce a Dilapidation Bill to the Assembly as soon as possible after summer recess.

The drafting of the Bill is now complete and officials are currently finalising the associated Regulatory Impact Assessment.
