Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the number of pothole repairs that are outstanding in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area.

Answer:

Road surface defects, including potholes are managed through the Department’s Maintenance Management System which records the total number of defects and the number outstanding for each Section Office area.

The data is regularly published through the OpenDataNI portal at https://www.opendatani.gov.uk/dataset/surface-defects.

Official Statistics on the condition of our roads are also now published through the Northern Ireland Road Network and Condition Statistics.
