To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the towpath upgrade from Aghalee to Broadwater, Co. Antrim.

Answer:

Essential reservoir safety works at Broadwater Reservoir are currently at detailed design stage. Construction works are expected to take place during late 2025 to early 2026.

An upgrade to the towpath from Aghalee to Broadwater will be considered once the reservoir safety works are completed.
