Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy what engagement he has had with Ulster University about the future of the Coleraine campus.

Answer:

I have met with Ulster University for wide-ranging discussions in which the University’s commitment to its multi-campus mission, including the future of its Coleraine campus, has been very clear. I am supportive of that commitment as a means to deliver regional balance in the provision of higher education in the North.

I will continue to work with all of our higher education institutions to help ensure all their campuses are thriving, sustainable centres for higher education.
