Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy for a breakdown of (i) the organisations whose bids were successful to the International Tourism Events Fund 2024-25; and; (ii) the total funding allocated to each organisation.

Answer:

Twenty one (21) applications were received to the scheme and have now progressed through a competitive scoring and assessment process. Notifications of the outcome were sent to 13 successful and 8 unsuccessful applicants on 1 May 2024.

Funding requests were received totalling £1,430,000, against a projected scheme budget of £650,000.

Tourism NI will not be in a position to confirm awards until all Letters of Offer to successful applicants have been accepted, signed, and returned as per the usual process. Once all Letters of Offer have been finalised, a full list of successful organisations and the funding allocated to each will be published on www.tourismni.com/events.
