Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether additional provision will be provided to GPs to guarantee aftercare for patients discharged from hospital.

Answer:

There is no additional provision being provided for GPs to provide post procedure aftercare to patients. However primary and secondary care providers continue to work together to provide aftercare services which best suit the clinical requirement of post-operative patients.
