To ask the Minister of Health when the outcomes from the draft Equality Impact Assessment on Belfast Health and Social Care Trust's implementation plan to close Muckamore Abbey Hospital will be available to the public.

Answer:

The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust’s consultation on the draft Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) of their implementation plan to close Muckamore Abbey Hospital closed on 30 April 2024.

The Belfast Trust have advised me they are considering the responses received, including the feedback from a number of engagement sessions held as part of the consultation. Once this work is complete, the Trust are planning to present a draft outcome report for approval at their Trust Board meeting on 12 June 2024. Subject to approval, the Trust will then publish the report.
