Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on his engagement with the Minister for the Economy on the implementation of the 14-19 Education and Training Framework.

Answer:

I recently met with the Minister for the Economy to discuss the 14-19 Framework and other shared priorities. During this meeting we reaffirmed our commitment to our departments working collaboratively to support the educational opportunities for all our young people.

Given the importance of this work, Minister Murphy and I jointly tasked officials with preparing proposals for our consideration to further enhance delivery of the Framework and joint working across the system.
