Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy (i) whether funding for the Skill Up Programme will be made available in the 2024-25 financial year; and (ii) for an update on the evaluation the 2023-24 Skill Up Programme.

Answer:

Long term strategic investment in our skills system will enable a flourishing economy and I am considering the best means of closing the skills gap, including which associated programmes and funding will best address this.

The Post Project Evaluation of the three-year Skill Up programme will be completed by 30th June 2024.
