Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 10840/22-27, to detail the (i) grade; and (ii) remit of those staff members allocated to the Childcare Affordability Scheme Task and Finish Group.

Answer:

My Department has nominated two staff members to the Childcare Affordability Scheme Task and Finish Group. The first is a Grade 7, who is Head of the Department’s Family Policy Unit, with responsibility for the Department’s Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care, alongside other policy responsibilities. The second is a Band 8a member of the Childcare Partnership Team in the Department’s Strategic Planning and Performance Group, who has lead responsibility for the Bright Start School Age Childcare Scheme, the Family Support NI website and is the childcare information lead in the Department.
