To ask the Minister of Education to detail the support his Department is offering childcare providers in South Belfast given the rise in demand.

Answer:

My Department continues to progress the development of an Executive Early Learning and Childcare Strategy as a matter of priority. The affordability and accessibility of childcare for families, alongside other actions to support the early learning and childcare sector, are being considered.

I hope to bring proposals to the Executive in the coming days.
