Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 11363/22-27, for an update on a resolution for the accommodation of Bright Sparks Preschool, Crawfordsburn.

Answer:

Bright Sparks Pre-School continues to operate from Crawfordsburn Primary School whilst the Education Authority (EA) investigates options to resolve the current accommodation issues.

A further meeting took place with Bright Sparks representatives on 30 May 2024.

Proposals for remedial works have been sent to the South-Eastern and Social Care Trust for consideration, thereafter a meeting is to be set up with the EA, when a final decision will be taken.
