To ask the Minister for Infrastructure when he intends to undertake a review of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.

Answer:

I currently have no plans to complete a review of the Taxi Act (NI) 2008. I’m sure you will appreciate that I have many competing priorities within my Department and a review of the Taxis Act would involve significant resources. I can assure you that my Department is committed to working with and helping the taxi industry address the range of issues that it faces.
