To ask the Minister of Education to detail any consideration he has given to ensuring parents of multiples are fully supported as part of the upcoming Early Learning and Childcare strategy, considering the extra financial burden they face.

Answer:

My Written Ministerial Statement on 23 May 2024 set out my plans for early learning and childcare support measures during 2024/25. Work to confirm the operational detail is ongoing and this will be communicated in due course. In terms of the Childcare Subsidy Scheme, all eligible children will be able to benefit from the discount proposed.
