Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the (i) in-person engagement; and (ii) engagement via correspondence, with the Arts Council since the restoration of the Executive in February 2024 in relation to a memorial to the victims and survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse.

Answer:

Officials continue to engage with the Arts Council on memorial plans.

We will soon be meeting with victims’ and survivors’ representative groups to hear their views and will consider all relevant proposals for a memorial.
