To ask the Minister of Education whether people in receipt of childcare vouchers will be eligible to access support from the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

Answer:

I advised in my statement of 23 May that I intend to have the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme in place for September 2024. Work to confirm the operational detail is ongoing, including through engagement with stakeholders, and further information will be communicated in due course.
