To ask the Minister of Finance whether climate considerations will be included in the proposed Strategic Infrastructure Plan.

Answer:

The interim Fiscal Framework outlines the agreed contents for the Strategic Infrastructure Plan. It states that the Plan will provide further detail on, among other things, the approach to the prioritisation of projects.

It will therefore be for the Plan to set out the factors, including climate change, that will be taken into account when prioritising capital spend over the Plan period. The emerging Investment Strategy will inform the development of the Strategic Infrastructure Plan.
