Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the total amount of money available for the Enhanced Flood Support Scheme.

Answer:

In February 2024, I announced that I would make up to £10 million available to support small and medium sized businesses impacted by the flooding of late October/early November 2023. This support was in addition to the £7,500 flood support grant and rate relief that had already been provided. The Enhanced Flood Support Scheme is one of three schemes funded in full by my Department that are currently being delivered by district councils.
