Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy, further to the meeting with her precedessor and the Minister of Education, whether she intends to reinstate the Careers Advisory Forum.

Answer:

Oral Question No 4 – AQO 498/22-27

At my meeting with the Education Minister, we discussed the need to enhance the careers ecosystem. Collaboration and co-design with users and stakeholders will be essential to the success of this work. This is why a Careers Portal stakeholder event is taking place on 5th June with attendees coming from across the system.

More broadly, as part of our work to enhance the careers services, officials in both Departments are currently considering the potential role of the Careers Advisory Forum to embed system level engagement as part of a joint programme of work.
