To ask the Minister of Education whether RAISE funding will be used to contribute to reducing the negative impact of paramilitarism.

Answer:

A significant element of the RAISE Programme is the delivery of community informed interventions to raise aspirations and reduce educational disadvantage. As part of this, there is scope for a wide range of issues to be considered in the identified localities. Reducing the impact of paramilitarism and organised crime could be amongst those issues.
