To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans he has to commence section (i) 2A; (ii) 8; (iii) 17(2); (iv); 23(8); (v) 36; (vi) 49; and (vii) 54(2) of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.

Answer:

Currently I have no plans to commence the sections that you have detailed of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008, however, my officials would be happy to respond to specific queries on any individual provisions that have not yet been commenced.
