Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether he will enhance the Getting Ready suite of programmes, as recommended in A Fair Start report, as part of his recent announcement on early years and childcare investment.

Answer:

£7.1m has been allocated by the Executive to stabilise and expand existing early years provision as part of the £25m package announced on 23 May 2024. Work to confirm the components of this and the operational detail is ongoing and will be communicated in due course.
