Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities when his Department will produce a plan and timeline for the implementation of measures which will fully mitigate the impact of the two-child limit on families.

Answer:

Officials are currently finalising work to update the estimated costs for all of the recommendations coming out of the Independent Advisory Panel Report into the future of welfare mitigations, including mitigation for the two-child limit.

Any future mitigation package will need to be considered and agreed by the Executive, and assessed in the climate of financial constraint with the requirement to ensure that budgets remain sustainable over the coming years.
