To ask the Minister for Communities when his Department will finalise the work to update the estimated costs for all of the recommendations set out in the Independent Advisory Panel Report on Mitigations, including mitigating the Universal Credit two-child limit.

Answer:

My officials are currently finalising work to update the estimated costs for all of the recommendations coming out of the Advisory Panel’s Review to help inform decisions on the way forward. It is anticipated that this work will be completed in the coming weeks.

Once this work to refresh the estimated costs is complete I will share further details with the Executive and the Committee for Communities.
