Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, following planning approval, for an indicative timescale of the reinstatement of Moylinn footbridge.

Answer:

My Department remains committed to taking forward the replacement of Moylinn East Footbridge and I can confirm that planning permission for the replacement bridge was granted on 31st May 2024.

It is hoped that construction can commence in early 2025 however this is subject to budget availability, successful tender / award and lead in time required by successful bidder for detailed design and fabrication.
