To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any consideration he has given to a name change for the Universal Credit Contingency Fund short-term living expenses grant, as per the recommendations of the Independent Review of Welfare Mitigations.

Answer:

The Independent Advisory Panel's Report is currently under review with a refresh of the estimated costs for the various recommendations being finalised. I have asked officials, subject to affordability, to expedite the arrangements for changing the name of the Universal Credit Contingency Fund.
