Question:
To ask the Assembly Commission why lockers are not available at the entrance to the Public Gallery of the Assembly Chamber to enable visitors to store bags.

Answer:

Due to the limited space that is available at the entrance to the Public Gallery of the Assembly Chamber storage boxes have been provided for small items such as mobile phones and wallets. As this area is an evacuation route in the event of an emergency evacuation it is important that it is kept clear.

The Assembly Commission has however provided larger lockers that visitors are able to store bags in at the ramped entrance to the Great Hall.
