To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any engagement he has had with (i) Artemis Technologies; and (ii) Condor Ferries in relation to the electric passenger ferry pilot between Bangor and Belfast.

Answer:

I met with Artemis in August 2022 when I was previously in this post.

My Department has met Artemis Technologies on its proposed Belfast to Bangor ferry route on a number of occasions. At the most recent meeting, on 16 May 2024, which was also attended by a representative from Condor Ferries, officials were provided with an update on progress.
