Question:
To ask the Minister of Education what actions he will take to ensure children and young people are taught about pensions in the school curriculum.

Answer:
Financial capability, including money management and savings, is currently embedded as a statutory and integral element of the Northern Ireland curriculum. One of the requirements of the statutory cross-curricular skill of Using Mathematics is that, at each of the four Key Stages throughout compulsory education, pupils should be enabled to develop financial capability skills.
