To ask the Minister of Education whether a right of appeal is available to parents when a Board of Governors does not progress with a requested Temporary Variation to accommodate a place for their child.

Answer:

There is no legal requirement on a Board of Governors to seek a Temporary Variation and no right of appeal when one is not progressed.
