To ask the Minister for Communities to outline what plans his Department has to prioritise the prevention of youth homelessness.

Answer:

The prevention of Youth Homelessness is an operational matter for the Housing Executive. The Chief Executive has assured me that addressing homelessness and housing need amongst young people and families with children is a distinct priority for the Housing Executive.
