Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail his plans to progress the adoption of Lucy’s Law.

Answer:

I intend to deliver Lucy’s Law within the lifetime of this Assembly mandate.

My officials are developing options for my consideration. I will carefully consider all these options and then decide on the best one for appropriately regulating third-party sales of pups and kittens in Northern Ireland. Any proposals will be publicly consulted on.
