Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the legislative timescale for the increase of the maximum authorised weights for certain alternatively-fuelled vehicles and certain zero-emission vehicles, including when it will come into effect.

Answer:

I anticipate that these regulations will come into effect in the latter part of 2024 subject to no significant issues or barriers being identified by Departmental Solicitors Office.
