To ask the Minister of Education, AQW 11791/22-27, whether he has updated the aggregated schools budget for 2024-25 to ensure schools are resourced to live within their means.

Answer:

As I advised in AQW 11791/22-27, the Executive agreed departments’ opening 2024-25 budgets at the end of April. I am still in the process of finalising my Department’s 2024-25 budget strategy. Schools will be notified of their 2024-25 final opening allocations in due course.
