To ask the Minister for Communities for his assessment of the impact of vagrancy laws on levels of chronic homelessness in Belfast.

Answer:

Vagrancy legislation is a matter for the Minister of Justice.

The Complex Lives model takes a whole system approach to address chronic homelessness across Belfast. This includes supporting people who are caught in the cycle of rough sleeping.
