To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the steps he is taking to support the Housing Executive in speeding up the process of moving tenants out of temporary housing and into permanent housing.

The Housing Executive’s strategic approach to supporting applicants in temporary accommodation, including assisting with timeliness of move-on options, is outlined in the Strategic Action Plan for Temporary Accommodation which can be found at:

The Housing Executive will ensure that any change of tenancy works will be prioritised in any properties where an offer has been made to a household in temporary accommodation.
