Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail how the findings and recommendations from the Investing in Creative Delivery report will be integrated into the new Heritage, Culture and Creativity programme.

Answer:
The scope of the Heritage, Culture and Creativity programme extends beyond the remit of the Culture Arts and Heritage Taskforce and includes, for example, the development of policy in relation to museums and public libraries.
My statement of 3 July 2024 is clear in its acknowledgement of the important work of the Culture, Arts and Heritage Taskforce and in stating that the insights, observations and recommendations presented in “Investing in Creative Delivery” provide the basis for the policy development work to be undertaken for arts and for the built-heritage and the historic environment.
