Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the Queens Hall and Newtownards Library capital project.

Answer:

Further to my responses to AQW 5873/22-27 and AQW 8963/22-27, Libraries NI have submitted an updated business case supporting the proposed redevelopment of the library which is currently being considered by my Department. Any decision to proceed with a new library facility will be dependent on prioritising of capital investment in a very difficult budgetary situation.
