To ask the Minister for Communities whether any of the planned future social housing delivered by the Housing Executive will be designated as pet friendly.

Answer:

Any planned future social housing, whether it is owned by the Housing Executive or by Housing Associations, will be subject to those organisations policies on pet ownership. Therefore, whether a tenant is permitted to keep a pet in their home now or in the future is an operational matter for the Housing Executive and Housing Associations.
