Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any action they have taken to implement Recommendation 1 of the Covid-19 Inquiry, in relation to the simplification of structures dealing with civil emergencies and resilience.

Answer:

TEO officials are working to understand how the recommendations contained in the Covid 19 Inquiry Module 1 Report can be best delivered within the scope of the Northern Ireland Civil Contingencies Framework and the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.

A cross-departmental steering group is due to meet in the near future to consider and progress implementation of the recommendations from the Covid 19 Inquiry Module 1 Report.
