Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any engagement they have had with the Belfast night tsar in relation to the implementation of the Strategic Framework to End Violence Against Women and Girls.

Answer:

The Delivery Plan includes an action to develop, through sectoral working groups, agreed EVAWG action plans including for Safer Socialising (Action 8). The Safer Socialising Steering Group, which is chaired by Hospitality Ulster, contains representatives from a range of organisations including officials from TEO, other Departments, PSNI, and Translink.

The Belfast Night Czar, Michael Stewart, recently made an introductory presentation on his role to the Safer Socialising Steering Group. Our officials will continue to engage with the Night Czar through this group.
