Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the progress of outstanding repairs required for Larne High School.

Answer:

The Education Authority’s (EA) Maintenance Service is currently investigating ongoing damp issues in classrooms at Larne High School. The building contractor attended the school in September 2024 and EA will liaise with the school regarding the contractor’s recommendations and follow up actions.

The EA has initiated an unavoidable minor works regarding the school’s changing facilities, which require a full refurbishment. The EA is currently reviewing the options for this project.
