Question:
To ask the Minister of Education (i) how much of the £25 million allocated to childcare has been spent to this point; and (ii) for his assessment of how much of it will be spent by the end of the 2024-25 financial year.

Answer:

The full £25m early learning and childcare funding has been allocated to a range of DE funded programmes and wider delivery partners, including other departments.

My officials are working collaboratively with them to help ensure the full allocation is spent by the end of March 2025.
