Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for a timescale for the launch of the Change Fund, as outlined in the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Delivery Plan 2024 – 2026.

Answer:

The Change Fund will build on and complement prevention work, supporting grassroots groups and community and voluntary sector organisations to do more, further build capacity and be better equipped to address the significant issues in their area.

An initial amount of £3 million is earmarked for the Change Fund over the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 financial years, subject to budget. Work is continuing at pace to put in place the necessary supporting arrangements and further details will be announced in the time ahead.
